Adnamiq began with frustration - watching royalties disappear into ad spend. Something had to change - for me, and for every author facing the same uphill battle.
Hi, I'm Matt, the founder of Adnamiq.
‍I started Adnamiq to solve a problem I knew all too well. I was working with a great team publishing high-quality children's books. We had over 25 titles live on Amazon and strong social proof from reviews. We'd optimized cover designs, created compelling A+ content and partnered with influencers to promote the books. But no matter what we did, it was always a struggle to make more in royalties than we were spending on advertising.
Initially I wanted to focus on book production and leave advertising to the experts. So I outsourced ads management to freelancers and agencies. They were very effective at spending my money but couldn't make the books profitable.
I was convinced this was the kind of data-driven topic which should be managed by a machine, so I started using another automated tool — and my books became even less profitable.
How did campaigns bidding more per click than my royalties per book ever make sense? "The system is learning," I was told. "You just have to wait." Eventually, I decided I'd had enough. I pulled the plug.
Sound familiar?
That’s when I decided to build something better. We needed a system that would automatically target high-value keywords and ASINs. We needed clear, actionable reporting to understand what was working — and why. We needed a smarter way to invest in each book to help it rank organically. We needed to dynamically update bids in real time to maximize profitability.
So we built it.
Adnamiq started as a tool to scratch my own itch — and the results were immediate. Our automations and optimization algorithms took over the heavy lifting, and for the first time, advertising became manageable and profitable.
It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m truly grateful to the talented team I'm working with for helping me turn around my author journey.
If any of this feels familiar, you’re exactly who we’re building Adnamiq for.
We’re currently onboarding a small group of KDP authors into our private beta to help shape the future of Amazon advertising. As a beta user, you’ll get early access, direct support, and the opportunity to influence the product before our full launch.Â
If you'd like to be part of it, join our waitlist — we’d love to have you.
Warm regards,
